Job summary

Beth El Synagogue in Minnesota seeks a part-time Youth Engagement Associate to support our Youth Department both administratively and in front-line roles. The position is based in St.

Louis Park, with in-person hours and some remote hours available, totaling about 8–10 hours weekly. You will help manage calendars, registrations, rosters, and event setup, while supervising participants and coordinating communications among youth, families, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications

• Highly organized, able to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to lift 30-40 lbs.
• Experience working with youth in education or youth settings (camp, school, youth group).
• Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain department logistics and operations (calendars, registrations, rosters, etc).
• Supervise and support youth during events/gatherings/programs.
• Support communications across the department between youth, families, faculty, and staff.
• Assist with event setup, materials, and spaces.
