Ramat Shalom Beth Israel is seeking a Youth Programming Coordinator who loves working with children and teens and turning good ideas into meaningful experiences.
You will plan and lead social, recreational, cultural, and Jewish experiences for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, and collaborate with our Larry Steinberg Institute of Jewish Leadership to develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and leadership in young people.
Help us create the kind of Jewish community kids can't wait to be part of.
Ramat Shalom Beth Israel (RSBI) is looking for a creative, energetic, and engaging Youth Programming Coordinator who loves working with children and teens and knows how to turn good ideas into great experiences.
We believe that some of the most meaningful Jewish connections begin with friendships, shared experiences, laughter, and a genuine sense of belonging. We're looking for someone who can bring those connections to life for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Working alongside our Director of Youth Engagement, you'll plan and lead social, recreational, cultural, and Jewish experiences that make young people excited to participate in synagogue life. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with our newly established Larry Steinberg Institute of Jewish Leadership, helping young people develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills through meaningful experiences.
Someone who is enthusiastic, approachable, dependable, organized, and full of ideas. You should enjoy spending time with children and teenagers, understand what makes a successful youth program, and be comfortable taking initiative while working as part of a team. Experience in Jewish camping, synagogue youth groups, education, recreation, or other youth-focused organizations is especially welcome. A strong connection to Jewish life and culture is important. We value relevant experience, creativity, and the ability to build relationships over any particular academic credential.
If you're someone who believes that Jewish community should be meaningful, welcoming, and genuinely fun, we'd love to hear from you.
