Job summary

Zach Gordon Youth Center is seeking a Full-Time Youth Services Coordinator I to provide afterschool programming at Cedar Park and Geneva Woods in Douglas. The role will involve on-site programming, family engagement, and staff supervision to support a grant-funded afterschool program.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least six months of related experience. Driver's license and First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days are required; criminal records checks apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or the equivalent.
• Experience totaling six (6) months in any field.
• Experience working with youth and/or families affected by trauma or coordinating patient referral or care services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running a grant-funded afterschool program, providing on-site programming 12 hours per week at either Geneva Woods or Cedar Park.
• Coordinate monthly family nights, field trips, and ongoing youth support.
• Recruit youth to engage in programming and create a safe and engaging space for youth.
• Supervise up to four part-time staff across both program sites, coach shift schedules, and interview/train new staff.
