YMCA and Women's Center of Rome is looking for a dynamic School Age Coordinator for their Before and After School Summer Day Camp Program. This leadership role focuses on youth development and ensuring program success through effective administration and staff engagement.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Child Development or a related field, along with two years of experience working with children under 13, including supervisory duties. This position requires compliance with state regulations and a commitment to creating a nurturing environment for all participants.

Qualifications

• Must be over the age of 18 years old.
• Two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• At least one year in a supervisory capacity in a child care program.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages operating plans for program growth and retention.
• Recruits, trains, and directs staff and volunteers.
• Ensures compliance with state and local licensing regulations.
• Models relationship-building skills in all interactions.
