Boy s & Girls Clubs of Broward County is seeking a part-time Program Aide in Fort Lauderdale to support staff across programs and maintain a safe, engaging environment for youth.

The role emphasizes helping with reading, math, nutrition, fitness, and collaborative activities, while upholding program standards and safety rules. Prior experience with children is helpful and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Formación

• Experience working with children is helpful.
• Knowledge of core program areas: academic success, education and career, health, and physical education.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.

Responsabilidades

• Stimulate interest and participation for members in areas such as reading, math, nutrition, and fitness.
• Help maintain classroom materials and fitness equipment.
• Assist instructors, coordinators, classroom teachers or fitness directors as assigned.
• Mobilize members to attend or participate in programs.
• Maintain discipline and adherence to BGC rules.
• Develop a positive atmosphere toward long-term academic and social goals.
• Assist with collecting and tabulating data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
