Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County seeks a YR-M.O.S.T Youth Aide to support members in reading, math, nutrition, and fitness. You will help prepare materials, assist instructors, and mobilize participation in activities, contributing to a safe, engaging program environment.

Ideal candidates are current high school or college students with strong interpersonal skills, energy, and patience. You will work under supervision, handle routine duties, and help maintain order and positive behavior

Qualifications

This position requires good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others.
High energy, endurance, and patience are essential.
Able to model appropriate behaviors at all times.
Ability to address and de-escalate crisis.

Responsibilities

Stimulate interest and participation for members in areas such as reading, math, nutrition, and fitness.
Help maintain classroom materials and fitness equipment.
Assist instructors, coordinators, classroom teachers, or fitness instructors as assigned.
Help mobilize members to attend or participate in programs.
Help maintain discipline and adherence to club rules.
Develop a positive atmosphere among members toward long-term goals.
Assist with collecting and tabulating data as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
