Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Knowledge of core program areas: academic success, education and career, health and physical education.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Stimulate interest and participation in reading, math, nutrition, and fitness.
• Maintain classroom materials and fitness equipment.
• Assist instructors, coordinators, classroom teachers or fitness directors as assigned.
• Mobilize members to attend or participate in programs.
• Maintain discipline and adherence to Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County rules.
• Develop a positive atmosphere toward achieving long term academic and social goals.
• Assist with collecting and tabulating data.
• Other duties as assigned.
