Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch is seeking a Program Therapist to join an interdisciplinary care team serving youth with emotional and behavioral challenges. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, group and family therapy, coordinating with schools and community agencies.

The role requires Montana licensure paths, adherence to state and program guidelines, and strong ethics.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar (60 credit hour program).
• Montana professional license as Therapist 1 or Therapist 2 per MT rules.
• Criminal/Child Abuse background clearance as required by the State of Montana.

Aufgaben

• Provides individual, group and family therapy in school/community/home settings while maintaining program viability.
• Performs mental health clinical assessments and develops treatment plans for youth.
• Engages with parent/guardian/caregiver interactions to support care.
• Willing to work in person and via telehealth with youth and families.
• Intervenes in crises calmly to ensure safety of staff and youth.
• Completes and verifies initial assessments, treatment plans and therapy notes per PQI standards.
• Maintains effective relationships with team members and participates in meetings.
• Participates in peer supervision as directed by supervisor.
• Attends CST/IEP meetings, coordinates with community agencies, and liaises with other providers.
• Maintains knowledge of Montana Medicaid and YBGR licensure rules.
