Job summary

Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch is seeking a Program Therapist to join the interdisciplinary care team serving youth with emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric challenges. The role includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy in schools, communities, and homes.

Responsibilities include individual, group, and family therapy, collaboration with caregivers, and ensuring compliance with PQI standards and funding guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance: pass required background check per Montana.
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar field from an accredited university.
• Professional License: Program Therapist 1 or 2 per Montana licensure (SWLC/PCLC/MFLC or LCSW/LCPC/MFLT).
• License to operate a passenger vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group and family therapy to youth in school, community, or home settings.
• Conducts clinical assessments and develops treatment plans.
• Engages with parents/guardians/caregivers to support youth.
• Willing to participate in telehealth and in-person sessions.
• Maintain PQI standards and complete required documentation.
• Collaborates with treatment team and participates in meetings.
• Engages in peer supervision as directed by supervisor.
• Complies with Montana Medicaid and YBGR licensure requirements.
