AmeriCorps Project Impact-Boys & Girls Club of North LA is seeking a Group Leader to support after-school programs and supervise youth. The role requires collaboration with the Unit Director to implement club activities, mentor students, and promote safe, respectful behavior during activities.

Service hours total 300 across August-December and/or January-May and/or June-July. The position includes trainings, safety procedures, and opportunities to gain education awards and stipends.

Qualifications

• Mentor and supervise BGC youth in after-school settings.
• Commit to 300 service hours across specified terms.
• Maintain safety and behavior policies during program activities.

Responsibilities

• Mentor students and support group activities under Unit Director guidance.
• Implement club programs and supervise youth during activities.
• Assist with safety procedures, check-in, and health screenings as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth transitions and proper record-keeping.
