Job summary

The Jewish Community Center Of Staten Island is looking for staff to supervise and guide children in our JCC/Compass programs. You should be familiar with all JCC programs and collaborate with the team to ensure a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include assisting activities, supervising attendance, supervising snack time, and supporting homework help while following health department and DOE guidelines. Applicants must be 18+ and experienced with youth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth
• Organized and exhibit follow through on tasks and goals
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Assisting the activities specialist/teacher of the activity you are given for the hour
• Assisting the children of your assigned group with their snack
• Attendance of participants in your group
• Overall supervision of children in their group
• Assisting with Homework help
• Facilitating certain activities such as plays, talent shows, games etc.
