Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbia is seeking a responsible Bus Driver to transport club members and staff safely between designated sites and activities. You will perform safety inspections, support fleet maintenance, and uphold the club's ethics and policies while collaborating with youth staff to ensure a positive, safe environment for all participants.

Qualifications include being at least 21 years old, holding a valid Class E license (and CDL preferred), and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have, or be able to secure, a valid Class E driver's license, have a good driving record, and have been licensed to drive for a minimum of three years to transport passengers in Club vehicles.
• Must Have, or willing to obtain a valid Class A (CDL) driver's license, have a good driving record, and have been licensed to drive for a minimum of three years to transport passengers in Club vehicles.
• Maintain mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technologically adept with standard technology

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for club members and staff to and from designated sites.
• Perform thorough safety inspections and assist with fleet maintenance.
• Collaborate with youth-facing staff to ensure transport safety.
• Uphold Club Code of Ethics and BGCC values.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and report mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Attend required staff meetings and follow club policies.
