Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain seeks a Bus Driver who will safely transport club members between schools, clubs and events, following safety rules and routines. The role includes reporting issues, coordinating maintenance and ensuring passenger safety throughout daily trips.

A candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, NC CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements, and prior experience working with youth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid North Carolina CDL Class B license.
• CDL endorsements: (P) Passenger and (S) School bus are required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports Club members following established bus safety rules.
• Maintains discipline on buses to ensure safety of members.
• Completes daily inspection and attendance records.
• Notifies supervisor of maintenance or safety issues.
• Follows vehicle emergency procedures and reports driving violations.
