Job summary

Gateway Region YMCA in Washington, MO is seeking a part-time youth program facilitator to provide a safe, high quality experience for participants. You will lead educational and recreational activities aligned with program goals and maintain positive relations with staff, youth, and parents.

The role requires at least 16 years old and 1 year of experience with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers. You will help ensure policy compliance and deliver excellent customer service during all program

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must have 1 year experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe and high quality experience to the participants.
Lead youth in educational, recreational, or social activities according to the program goals.
Maintain positive relationships with staff, youth, volunteers and program site administration, demonstrating strong public relations.
Ensure YMCA policies and guidelines are followed at all times.
Supervise youth at all times and be responsible for assertive discipline procedures.
Responsible for all aspects of customer service – greeting parents and handling questions.
