Job summary

The role focuses on program fidelity, trauma-sensitive practices, and building partnerships with schools and community organizations to deliver Ready4Life 2.0 across Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, and Cochise counties. The ideal candidate supports recruitment of Peer Coach/Leadership participants, maintains records, and coordinates weekly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 1 year directly related experience working directly with youth.
• Ability to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for both youth and adults while using a trauma informed approach.
• Knowledge of sexual health, trauma informed approaches, positive youth development, youth-friendly referrals, classroom management, Mandatory Reporting, and other components critical to providing a safe and supportive environment for youth.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates (in-person and virtual) relationship education classes and workshops utilizing evidence-based program curriculum and activities with a strong emphasis on program fidelity.
• Creates a safe, welcoming environment for both youth and adults while using a trauma informed approach.
• Plans, promotes, and directs a schedule of activities for weekly sessions.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation of program participants.
• Recruits for Peer Coach/Leadership participants.
• Assists the Program Director in building and maintaining relationships in the community.
• Participates in community events, activities, and conferences, as needed.
