Job summary

Arizona Youth Partnership seeks a Prevention Coordinator to implement community-based, school-based, and family-focused prevention, education, and outreach across rural Arizona. You will deliver evidence-based curricula such as Project ALERT, Mind Matters 2.0, and SmokeSCREEN to youth, parents, caregivers, schools, and community members.

The role requires some evenings and weekends, travel countywide, strong presentation and writing skills, and the ability to work independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in community outreach, youth education, and prevention preferred.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement prevention programs in community, school, and family settings.
• Deliver evidence-based curricula like Project ALERT, Mind Matters 2.0, and SmokeSCREEN.
• Recruit and engage Youth Prevention Councils via schools and events.
• Coordinate with schools, coalitions, and community partners.
• Collect program data and support reporting to funders.
• Represent AZYP at events and trainings.
