Kentucky River Community Care at the Letcher County Sapling Center in Whitesburg, KY, seeks a Youth Peer Support Specialist to empower youths by sharing experiences and advocating for client-driven treatment planning. Credentials needed: must be at least eighteen (18) years of age but no older than thirty-five (35); receiving or have received at least one (1) child serving agency or a state funded service that is related to youth's emotional, social, behavioral, or substance use disability.
Special skills/knowledge required: high school diploma or equivalent, KFLA training, demonstrate leadership and advocacy in the field of behavioral health.
