Job summary

Hope Church in Wilton, CT is seeking an energetic, biblically-based Student Ministry Director to lead 6th–12th graders and their families. This role envisions and develops a growing team of volunteers, teaches biblical messages, and fosters deep relationships in a dynamic youth ministry.

You will plan retreats and mission trips, build collaborative partnerships with staff, and manage the youth budget to advance discipleship and outreach. A 3-bedroom parsonage is included.

We are denominationally affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America. Our Vision is to be a dynamic community where Christ is transforming lives as we Reach, Teach, and Serve one another in love. We currently have an average attendance of about 250 on Sundays with more new families flooding in each week. We have 3 full-time and 2 part-time staff members. It has a small-town feel with the innovation and creative spirit of a big city and easy access to large cities (50 miles to the heart of Manhattan and 180 miles to Boston, MA). Wilton is a charming respite from big city life but an excellent place to settle and find a fulfilling career, some of the top schools in America, and a quiet and friendly community. As beautiful as Wilton is, it is a dark place spiritually. The New England/Greater New York City culture is very post-Christian and, at times, anti-Christian. There is a tremendous need for the bold proclamation of Jesus, and we are fully expecting God to bring revival to this area.**What We’re Looking For:** Hope Church is looking for an **energetic, biblically-based, high-capacity leader**. This person will lead students into **deeper relationships with Jesus** and **celebrate authentic life change**. Oversight is 6th–12th grade with continued relationships beyond graduation.The **Hope Student Ministry** is in transition and looks forward to finding stability with its new Student Ministry Director. However, it continues to invest in students and families because of its group of active student ministry volunteers and student-led worship team.**The OPPORTUNITY is tremendous!** There are not many other youth groups in town and very few churches that are Biblically sound.
