Job description

Objective

The youth pastor will bring vision and enthusiasm to the church’s teen ministry, reflecting its vision, mission, and core values. The youth pastor must have a relationship with Jesus as Savior and Lord that is evident in their character, whether on or off the job. The youth pastor must be a team leader who can work compassionately with others, guiding them to succeed in their ministry to teens and encouraging them in their walk with Jesus.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• The gifting and heart of a shepherd and will have been part of an evangelical community of believers for at least 5 years.
• A Bachelor’s degree in youth ministry from an accredited Christian university is preferred.
• A solid understanding of Biblical Theology from a conservative evangelical perspective is required.
