Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking an Outreach Coordinator in Ohio to recruit eligible youth for the Job Corps program and conduct outreach across communities, agencies, and public events. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree with psychology coursework preferred, four years’ youth experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; psychology coursework preferred (15 semester hours).
• Four years’ experience working with youths ages 16–24.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Must be able to work some evenings and periodic weekends.
• Travel periodically.
• Computer literacy including Internet, email and Word processing.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible youth for Job Corps Program.
• Conduct outreach activities in communities, agencies, American Job Centers, and public events.
• Meet departmental and center goals and objectives.
• Conduct orientation and interviews with applicants including parents for minors.
• File procedures: data entry, scanning documents.
