Job summary

Clear Creek County seeks a MYN Youth Programs Coordinator to develop opportunities for youth engagement and manage TREK Outdoors, a youth leadership program. You will deliver evidence-based curricula and partner with the Clear Creek School District for in-class instruction at the middle school level.

Varied hours including weekends and after-school time; role emphasizes leadership development, safety, and collaboration with MYN staff and community partners to support youth in Clear Creek County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Two years experience in outdoor leadership/recreation, environmental education, positive youth development, education, or a related field (working with youth).
• Experience working with youth 11-18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and sustain partnerships with youth, school staff, outdoor organizations and businesses.
• Collaborate with MYN staff and coalition in Positive Youth Development (PYD).
• Deliver social-emotional learning and evidence-based lessons for groups led.
• Provide mentoring and opportunities for connection and future planning with youth.
• Plan activities and programming for youth engagement with MYN staff and partners.
• Compile statistics and assist with grants, reporting and expenses.
