Job summary

Traders Point Northwest Youth Ministry is seeking a Youth Operations Director to keep weekly operations running smoothly, know and care for students, and lead the Experience Team, Student Serve Team, and new student assimilation. You will also provide administrative support and coordinate large-scale youth events.

The role requires excellent leadership, organizational skills, and a Bible-centered approach, with collaboration across pastors, facilities, safety, and volunteers to equip volunteers

JOB SUMMARY

The Youth Operations Director keeps the everyday operations of Northwest Youth Ministry running smoothly so that students are known, cared for, and connected. This role owns key operational systems, leads the Experience Team, Student Serve Team and new student assimilation. This role will also provide administrative support, and lead will Northwest Youth Operations for large scale youth events.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role does not have staff supervisory responsibilities.
• This role leads a team of Difference Makers during Midweek.

DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS

• Lead the Midweek Experience Team and Student Serve Team.
• Createand maintain an engagement pathway for new students who attend Northwest Youth Ministry.
• Create, recruitand pastor a discipleship focusedStudent Serve Team.
• Own onboarding for new Experience Team volunteers (Difference Makers).
• EnsureMidweek operations are staffed, prepared, and running on time.
• Own Midweek food ordering and food inventory to feed over 500+ people weekly.
• Work closely to collaborate with Facilities on Midweek logistics.
• Work closely to collaborate with Safety on Midweek logistics.
• Lead Experience Team ministry partners, providing direction and support on Wednesday nights.
• Provide general administrative support to the Northwest Youth Ministry team.
• Collaborate with Middle School and High School Pastors to ensure that rosters are updated weekly.
• Manage Midweek Scheduling.
• Oversee baptism connection board and assign youth pastors and group leaders to baptism conversations.
• Support Northwest Youth Pastors with onboarding and Difference Maker Meetup Follow-Up.
• Lead the Experience team for Youth Nights.
• Support logistics and planning for Northwest with Middle School and High School Camp.
• Lead on-site coordination and troubleshooting during camp week.
• Collaborate with Northwest Youth Pastors on large events (Youth Nights, Superstart, MS and HS Camp)
• Communicate regularly with the Youth Operations Lead to align operational standards and best practices.

• This position reports directly to: the Northwest Youth Lead Pastor
• This position is a dotted-line report to: Lead Youth Pastor

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree required or 2+ years of similar experience.
• Excellent leadership skills with very strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• 2+ years of experience leading volunteer teams and developing volunteer leaders preferred.
