Job summary

Ambassador Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin seeks a Youth Ministry Resident to shepherd middle school and high school students as they grow in Jesus.

You will work under the Lead Pastor and Next-Gen Coordinator, plan weekly youth gatherings, teach occasionally, and raise up a team of mentors to support your ministry. A heart for students and a willingness to develop in pastoral leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience or calling to minister to middle/high school students.
• Ability to plan and lead student gatherings with clarity.
• Willingness to develop under staff feedback.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead weekly youth gatherings (teaching, programming, logistics).
• Teach on a rotating basis, growing as a communicator under staff feedback.
• Raise up leaders to join the youth ministry team.
• Engage with local schools to build relationships with teachers and students.
• Coordinate with Lead Pastor, Next-Gen Coordinator, and parents on weekly communication.
• Care for students in crisis in partnership with pastoral staff.
