Job summary

The Catholic Diocese of Columbus is seeking a Director of Youth Ministry to lead the parish youth ministry, engaging middle and high school youth and young adults. Responsibilities include developing youth programs and collaborating with staff and families to foster spiritual growth. Candidates must have a background in theology, experience in youth ministry, and be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Compliance with BCI&I background checks and Protecting God's Children program.
• 3 to 5 years of youth ministry or similar experience required.
• Proven administrative skills in budget preparation and conflict resolution.
• Solid understanding of youth ministry practices required.

Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate pastoral ministry programs for youth.
• Develop and supervise a team of volunteers.
• Collaborate with parish staff and families for spiritual growth.
• Manage the youth ministry budget.
