Job summary

ExpertCare in Southeast Michigan is seeking a Youth Mentor to provide 1:1 mentoring in recipients' homes and support skill-building activities. You will work with recipients to encourage and help grow their personal goals within a home environment and community setting.

Flexible schedule and paid training are offered. This role emphasizes compassionate support, independence, and following care plans to assist individuals with varying abilities in achieving their goals.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 mentoring to recipients in their homes.
• Support, encourage and help with skill-building activities.
• Accompany recipients to community activities to meet personal goals.
• Follow care plans and document progress.

ExpertCare services Community of Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan. Full and part time positions are available!
