The Youth Mentor & Engagement Specialist at Default Brand provides targeted small-group tutoring in reading, math, and STEM two days per week for groups of 2-5 students. One weekly hands-on STEM activity is conducted for all students.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED (two years of college in education/math/science preferred) and has a 3:30 PM–5:30 PM schedule with relief status and local transportation requirements.

The Youth Mentor & Engagement Specialist provides small-group academic instruction in reading, math, and STEM two days per week. This position delivers targeted lessons for groups of 2-5 students, aligned with state standards and student needs. The Youth Mentor & Engagement Specialist also conducts one weekly hands‑on STEM activity for all students.

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; two years of college coursework in education, math, science, or related field preferred, but not required
Experience: Experience tutoring or working with youth preferred
Licenses: Valid driver's license and possess reliable transportation
Other Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age; must pass background checks.
A. Ability to Stand, Walk, sit, manually manipulate, reach outward and above shoulders, speak and bend on a daily basis
B. Capability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 30 lbs on a daily basis
