Job summary

Discovery Ranch South in Cedar City, Utah, is seeking part-time mentors to support teenage girls in a therapeutic residential setting. You will engage in experiential activities such as horseback riding, hiking, and rock climbing to build trust and guide progress on healing journeys.

Candidates should be 19+, have a high school diploma, and be able to pass background and motor vehicle checks. A Utah driver’s license and teamwork mindset are essential to thrive in our dynamic program.

Starting pay is $17 an hour for all mentors.

Help teenage girls in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey. Located near Three Peaks Recreational Park and overlooking Cedar City, Utah, Discovery Ranch South is a relationship-based residential treatment center based in experiential therapy.

Experiential therapy activities include horseback riding, skiing, hiking, and rock climbing. Through these shared experiences, a mentor builds rapport with our students. These relationships are key to the healing process. Often the relationships formed with mentors are the most meaningful to our students and create deep and lasting change.
