Job summary

Discovery Ranch South near Three Peaks Recreational Park, Cedar City, Utah, seeks mentors to support teenage girls in a therapeutic, experiential treatment program.

The role is part-time with day and swing shifts; starting pay is $17 per hour. Mentors build rapport through horseback riding, hiking, rock climbing, and other activities. Eligibility requires 19+ years, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background and MVR checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the USA and pass background checks.
• Able to pass motor vehicle record check and hold a Utah driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Help teenage girls in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey.
• Engage in experiential activities such as horseback riding, skiing, hiking and rock climbing to build rapport.
• Work with students in a team-based environment and maintain safe boundaries.

Help teenage girls in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey. Located near Three Peaks Recreational Park and overlooking Cedar City, Utah, Discovery Ranch South is a relationship-based residential treatment center based in experiential therapy.

Experiential therapy activities include horseback riding, skiing, hiking, and rock climbing. Through these shared experiences, a mentor builds rapport with our students. These relationships are key to the healing process. Often the relationships formed with mentors are the most meaningful to our students and create deep and lasting change.

• 19+ years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the USA
• Able to pass background check
• Able to pass motor vehicle record check
• Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment)
