Discovery Ranch South in Cedar City, Utah is seeking a part-time mentor to work with teenage girls in a therapeutic, relationship-based residential setting. Starting pay is $17 per hour for mentors, with day-shift options and a schedule chosen in the application.

Experiential activities include horseback riding, skiing, hiking, and rock climbing as part of the healing journey. Ideal candidates are 19+ years old, have a high school diploma, are eligible to work in the USA, and can pass background

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old and eligible to work in the USA.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pass background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Utah driver’s license within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teenage girls in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey.
• Facilitate experiential activities like horseback riding, skiing, hiking, and rock climbing.
• Build rapport and maintain safe, supportive relationships with students.
• Work as part of a team in a residential treatment center.

Help teenage girls in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey. Located near Three Peaks Recreational Park and overlooking Cedar City, Utah, Discovery Ranch South is a relationship-based residential treatment center based in experiential therapy.

Experiential therapy activities include horseback riding, skiing, hiking, and rock climbing. Through these shared experiences, a mentor builds rapport with our students. These relationships are key to the healing process. Often the relationships formed with mentors are the most meaningful to our students and create deep and lasting change.

• 19+ years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the USA
• Able to pass background check
• Able to pass motor vehicle record check
• Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment)
