Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Needham, MA is seeking a Part-Time Peer Mentor to support youth facing mental health challenges. The role relies on lived experience to inspire hope, provide peer education, coaching, modeling, guidance, and advocacy in homes, schools, and community settings.

The position offers 20 hours per week with flexible hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and opportunities to partner with a clinical team while empowering clients through recovery-oriented strategies.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
• Valid driver's license and regular access to a reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• guide youth through their treatment process providing outreach, peer support and advocacy, all in accordance to the client’s individual service plan
• help clients gain access to recovery resources and communities
• work in coordination with the clinical team while using his or her recovery experience as a positive model for clients’ process
