Job summary

Hermitage Hall, a UHS company in Nashville, seeks a Teacher Assistant to support teachers, supervise students, and handle classroom clerical tasks. You will assist with health and behavioral needs and contribute to daily living skills development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Paraprofessional Licensure/Certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation of Individual Education Plans under teacher supervision.
• Provide behavior support to teachers.
• Perform record keeping and clerical functions.
• Assist with positive rewards.
• Maintain student records including point sheets/grades when substituting or assisting.
• Assist teachers with lesson plans.
