Job summary

Hermitage Hall, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., in Nashville, is seeking a Lead Mental Health Assistant to join its team for the 3rd shift. You will supervise staff, guide residents, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for adolescents.

You will mentor new staff, implement the behavioral management program, respond to crises with de-escalation techniques, document daily activities, and support activities across meals, recreation, education, and appointments.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred; relevant behavioral health experience.
• Two years direct care with youth needed.
• Ability to perform de-escalation and follow program manuals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement behavioral management program to minimize risk and ensure policy adherence.
• Respond to crisis promptly and document notifications.
• Mentor and train new staff on program implementation.
• Monitor facility safety and report hazards per regulations.
• Document client behavior and daily activities accurately.
• Escort and supervise clients during meals, activities, and appointments.
