Job summary

Lighthouse Youth Services, Inc. is seeking an Adult Care Specialist for a part-time, 2nd shift role (Saturday and Sunday 3-11pm) in Cincinnati. You will mentor and support young adults ages 18–24, helping them build life skills, routines, and independence in a residential setting.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, compassion, and strong communication. Prior experience with at-risk youth or in a residential program is preferred, along with CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with at-risk youth or in a residential program.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help youth find their strengths and work toward personal goals.
• Develop daily living and self-care skills with residents.
• Provide one-on-one and group skill-building support.
• Create a safe, trauma-informed environment and supervise residents.
• Document activities and maintain program records accurately.
