Job summary

Pratt Library in Sand Springs, OK is seeking a full-time Youth Library Associate to develop engaging, educational programming for children and teens while creating welcoming spaces for all. Qualifications

• Must possess a bachelor's degree.
• Performs outreach to educational and professional institutions, community organizations, and after-school programs.
• Presents programs and prepares displays for youth and caregivers.
• Helps develop and maintain youth collections (children’s, juvenile, tween and teen).
• Plans participation in Summer Reading Program, Books-to-Treasure and Teen Read Week.
• Has working knowledge of library procedures and operations.
• May serve as Person in Charge of the location and direct staff and volunteers.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal, teaching, presentation and communication skills.
