Job summary

Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Tioga County seeks a Youth Development Resource Educator to lead planning, implementing and evaluating 4-H Youth Development programs focused on agriculture, science, healthy lifestyles and workforce prep.

Role involves coordinating administrative tasks, supervising staff, grant management, fundraising, and collaboration with Hilltop Community Farm and other colleagues to engage youth and the broader community.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Youth Development, Education, or related discipline.
• Experience relevant to the role.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and ability to meet travel requirements including travel
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and/or weekends
• Ability to transport/move supplies and equipment and climb stairs

Responsibilities

• Assessment and Development: develop methodologies to assess the Youth Development Program and ensure needs align with statewide Plans of Work.
• Delivery, Evaluation and Applied Research: deliver high quality 4-H Youth Development programs and events with volunteers.
• Administrative Responsibilities: supervise staff and volunteers and manage grants and budgets.
• Health and Safety: maintain safe working environment and follow policy.

Education

Master’s Degree in Youth Development, Education, or related discipline.
