Job summary

Cornell Cooperative Extension seeks a Youth Development Educator to implement and coordinate youth development programming across schools, camps, and community groups. The role requires collaboration with schools, families, and partners to promote leadership, financial literacy, STEM, and life skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or Equivalent Education
• Experience relevant to the role
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and travel requirements
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
• Familiarity with 4-H and other youth development programs (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist Youth and Family Program Manager in developing youth development programming.
• Deliver and coordinate programming in schools, community organizations, and camps.
• Support 4-H Camp Wabasso activities and school field trips to camp.
• Assist with Community Schools programming, materials, and reporting.
• Coordinate schedules, registrations, facilities, transportation, and supplies.
• Monitor expenditures and assist in purchasing and documentation.
• Promote Youth and Family Program opportunities and engage with partners.
