Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Part-Time Youth Programs staff to plan, supervise, and implement Character and Leadership activities for youth aged 6 to 18.

You will recruit participants, coordinate with staff, maintain safety, and prepare weekly reports while working 2.5-3 hours per day after school. A high school diploma and background check are required; driving the club van may be needed and some weekend hours could be required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Ability to pass DCF Level II background screening and drug test.
Knowledge of youth development and ability to motivate youth.
Ability to work with the public and manage behavior issues.
Ability to plan and implement quality Character and Leadership programs.

Responsibilities

Plan, supervise, and implement Character and Leadership programs for members of all ages.
Recruit and retain youth for Character and Leadership programs.
Work with other staff to implement these programs throughout the school year.
Maintain a Student Advisory Committee and complete yearly service-learning projects.
Ensure safety and quality in programs and maintain club appearance.
Prepare weekly reports and maintain a daily schedule.
May drive Club van with valid license and clean driving record.
