Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida seeks a Youth Development Professional for Leadership & Service at the RCSA Elem site in Jacksonville. The role supports youth ages 6–18, helping develop character, leadership and life skills in a safe, engaging environment.

You will plan and supervise activities, recruit and retain participants, and collaborate with staff to implement programs during the school year, including service-learning projects and Keystone/Torch programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
• Ability to work with the public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs specific to Character and Leadership.
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement Character and Leadership programs for all ages (e.g., Keystone Clubs, Youth of the Year, Torch Club).
• Recruit and retain youth for Character and Leadership programs.
• Work with staff to implement programs throughout the school year.
• Maintain a Student Advisory Committee.
• Complete yearly service-learning projects.
