Job summary

The Boys and Girls Clubs of NE Florida is seeking a Youth Development Professional - Health & Wellness to lead health and life skills programs for members aged 6 to 18. You will work with staff to deliver engaging programs, supervise activities, and ensure a safe, positive club environment in the after-school hours.

You will recruit participants, track outcomes for grants, and participate in planning with the Program Director. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
• Ability to engage with the public and communicate effectively.
• Ability to plan and implement quality health and wellness programs.
• Ability to supervise and ensure safety in program spaces.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement health and life skills programs for members.
• Recruit and retain youth for programs.
• Collaborate with staff to implement programs during the school year.
• Track and report student data for grant purposes.
• Ensure safety and high-quality program experiences.
• Prepare weekly reports for the Program Director.
• Maintain daily schedule and ensure programs run on time.
• May participate in special programs or events.
