Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida is hiring a Youth Development Professional—Leadership & SER for RCSA Elementary in Jacksonville, FL. This part-time role focuses on youth leadership, character development, and community engagement, with a schedule aligned to after-school hours.

You will design and implement programs for ages 6–18, recruit participants, and collaborate with staff to ensure safe, engaging activities that foster personal growth and civic understanding.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development and practical strategies for mentoring youth.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
• Ability to work with the public and engage diverse families.
• Ability to plan and implement quality Character and Leadership programs.
• Ability to organize and supervise youth in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Character and Leadership programs for members of all ages.
• Recruit and retain youth for Character and Leadership programs.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver programs during the school year.
• Maintain a Student Advisory Committee and complete yearly service-learning projects.
• Ensure safety, quality, and professional presentation of the Club environment.
• Prepare weekly reports and maintain a daily schedule for program activities.
