Cornell Cooperative Extension in Dutchess County seeks an Association Program Coordinator II to plan, organize, and deliver 4-H Youth Leadership & Workforce Development programs. You will coordinate volunteers, manage enrollment, and support program budgets while collaborating with staff to deliver engaging youth programming.

The role requires flexible hours including evenings/weekends, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education in related field; associate's degree and two years' relevant transferable program experience acceptable.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to plan and manage events.
• Effective communication via verbal, written and visual channels using traditional methods and digital tools.
• Ability to use and manage social media to promote programs.
• Ability to prepare and circulate materials for marketing programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality 4-H Youth Leadership & Workforce Development programs for youth ages 5-19 across venues.
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers for events including 4-H Public Presentations and county/state fairs.
• Utilize diverse educational methods to meet program goals.
• Coordinate enrollment, registration, marketing and paperwork for programs.
• Maintain professional interactions with participants, parents, stakeholders and volunteers.
• Represent the organization professionally before the public and partners.
