El Paso Center for Children, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) to support substance-use prevention, education, screening, counseling, and case management for youth.

The LCDC collaborates with the treatment team and contributes to residential program activities. The role requires an active Texas LCDC license, a Bachelors degree in a related field, and experience with adolescents.

Qualifications

  • Current and active Texas LCDC license is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Experience in substance-use services or youth-focused settings is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish ability is required or highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with documentation and recordkeeping is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct substance-use screenings and assessments within LCDC scope.
  • Provide individual and group counseling focused on prevention and recovery.
  • Coordinate ISPs, referrals, and case management for youth.
  • Deliver prevention education on substance-use and trafficking.
  • Maintain documentation and comply with licensing and program standards.
