Qualifications

• Current LCDC credential as defined by Texas DSHS.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in mental health, substance use treatment, or related field preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
• Knowledge of adolescent development and co-occurring conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling for adolescents with substance use and co-occurring conditions.
• Provide professional and ethical addiction and mental health services within the LCDC license scope.
• Facilitate psychoeducational, process, and recovery-focused groups.
• Lead recovery groups incorporating concepts from AA, NA, and CR.
• Provide education on relapse prevention and healthy decision-making.
• Conduct assessments, consultations, and crisis interventions as needed.
• Follow Clearfork Academy's clinical programming and standards.
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and collaborate with staff.
• Maintain accurate, objective, and timely documentation in the EHR.
