The North Carolina Department of Public Safety seeks a Youth Counselor to support the Division of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. You will work with court-involved youth, coordinate policy compliance, and contribute to community programming and outreach initiatives.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, weekend availability, and the ability to work a 10am-7pm schedule with one weekday 1pm-10pm per month. Step pay plan applies with progressive pay steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience working with the juvenile/family client population and/or related human services experience.

Responsabilités

• Facility point of contact for policy compliance and quality assurance.
• Reviews NC-JOIN case notes for accuracy and updates juvenile data.
• Coordinate interviews for investigations and manage schedules.
• Assist with audits, site visits, and drills.
• Develop community programming and engage volunteers.
• Assist with annual fiscal inventory and supply management.
