Job summary

Rise Family is seeking an Intervention Technician in Gooding, Idaho for a part-time role providing direct intervention to children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in school, community, or center settings. You will document progress and collaborate with the treatment team to support goals, while completing required trainings.

The position is provisional for 18 months, with required 1,040 hours of direct, supervised experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a human service related field or within 24 credits of completing a Bachelor’s Degree and actively enrolled.
• Complete 40 hour RBT training in ABA (provided by RISE) or hold a current certificate in Habilitative Intervention (HI)
• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and car insurance
• Must provide or obtain CPR/First Aid Certification (provided by RISE)
• Must provide or obtain MANDT and/or other de-escalation certification training (provided by RISE)
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass the ParaPro PRAXIS (Mountain Home School District only)(Remove if not Mountain Home)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one on one or group intervention to a child or adolescent with a developmental disability in accordance with the plan for treatment
• Provide daily documentation on the progress of goals
• Effectively communicate with parents and other providers
• Must complete required annual training requirements
