The Home for Little Wanderers seeks an Internship Coordinator for a 9-12th grade transfer school, to place students in paid internships and oversee certification courses under the Learning to Work initiative.

The role involves recruiting students, coordinating hiring/onboarding, and building community partnerships to support career readiness and progress. Salary ranges reflect market norms with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Social Sciences or Education Policy preferred.
• 3+ years experience providing school-based direct service or residential treatment.
• 1+ year experience with job development, staff supervision, HR, or related areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit high-schoolers to the student internship program.
• Coordinate paid internships in-school and with community partners.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding and supervision.
• Facilitate trainings to build skills, competency, and professionalism.
• Maintain and develop partnerships to provide diverse internships.
• Administer HR documentation and timesheets.
• Collaborate withWediko and school staff on individualized plans for student progress.
