The Youth Integrated Behavioral Health Care Program and Policy Coordinator focuses on planning, policy, program development, budget monitoring, and implementation of specialized programs serving populations under the Child and Family Behavioral Health (CFBH) unit. These include integrating primary care/health care settings with child and family behavioral health services. The person in this position will exercise independent decision-making authority and coordinate staff to plan, design, and direct behavioral health regulations, policies, and priorities related to these populations. This includes ensuring state and local planning processes are conducted as authorized by statutes and regulations.

In this role, you will identify program development needs, including administrative, legislative, and funding changes, and handle complex agency decisions. You will represent the agency in dealings with other agencies, organizations, businesses, and advocacy groups.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications: These must be visible in your application for consideration.

  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of professional evaluative, analytical, and planning work.
  • EXAMPLE: A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or related field, plus four years of professional evaluative, analytical, and planning work.

  • Master’s level clinician with experience in child and family behavioral health (preferred).
  • Background in child-serving settings such as primary care, child welfare, juvenile justice, and developmental disabilities.
  • Expertise in Trauma-Informed Care principles and application.
  • Knowledge in designing training and technical assistance processes.
  • System/organizational development expertise.
  • Knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules and fiscal systems.
  • Experience with federal funding and reporting systems.
  • Understanding of Children’s System of Care and Wraparound principles.
