What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, develop, and implement specialized programs serving child and family behavioral health populations
- Coordinate the work of other staff and exercise independent decision-making authority
- Represent the agency in dealings with other state agencies and public/private organizations
- Identify program development needs and suggest administrative, legislative, and funding changes
- Ensure compliance with state statutes and federal regulations in planning processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or related fields, plus four years of related experience
- Knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules and fiscal accounting/contracting systems
- Experience in child-serving settings such as primary care, child welfare, and juvenile justice
- Understanding of Trauma Informed Care principles and application
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s level clinician with experience in child and family behavioral health
- Knowledge of federal funding and reporting systems
- Expertise in designing processes for training and technical assistance
- Familiarity with the Children’s System of Care and Wraparound principles and values
- Experience in system/organizational development
