What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the planning, policy, and program development for specialized youth behavioral health programs
- Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with state statutes and federal regulations
- Represent the agency in interactions with state agencies, public and private organizations, and advocacy groups
- Identify program development needs and implement changes to enhance service effectiveness
- Direct the work of staff and ensure alignment with behavioral health regulations and policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or a related field
- Minimum of four years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work experience
- Knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules and fiscal accounting/contracting systems
- Knowledge of federal funding and reporting systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s level clinician with experience in child and family behavioral health
- Background in child-serving settings such as primary care, child welfare, juvenile justice, or developmental disabilities
- Expertise in Trauma-Informed Care principles and application
- Knowledge in designing processes for training and technical assistance
- Familiarity with the Children’s System of Care and Wraparound principles
