Full Salary Ranges: $17.53 - $21.91 Hourly

Anticipated Hiring Ranges: $17.53 - $19.72 Hourly

Job Summary

The City of Greeley seeks youth instructors for summer camps in Recreation. Responsibilities include leading safe, effective, and encouraging sports clinics and camps for ages 3-14, following the City’s youth sports philosophy. Dependability and timeliness are essential. Training and lesson plans will be provided.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills

Minimum Requirements

• 0-3 years experience in community-facing roles or customer service
• 1-3 years experience working with youth aged 3-14
• 3-10 years in sports such as football, soccer, tennis, baseball, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, cheer, pickleball, or dance
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross

Preferred

• 0-3 years coaching experience preferred

• Understand risk management, registration, and program details
• Respond to injuries and emergencies
• Maintain equipment inventory
• Maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certifications

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Outdoor elements exposure
• Occasional loud noise
• Variable hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Lift up to 50 lbs, perform physical activities like running and bending
• Up to 10% travel
